WayMaker Ministries - NOLA exists to provide Christ-centered relational and spiritual support through pastoral counseling. We serve individuals and couples by focusing on healing the whole person—mind, soul, and body—through compassionate conversation, prayerful support, and practical tools rooted in Scripture.
Sisters in both faith and family,
Caroline Cleveland Sholl and Beth Cleveland Maillho are trained by the
National Christian Counselors Association and share a calling to walk alongside others in their healing journeys. Together they offer Christian Pastoral Counseling that is gentle, Spirit-led, and grounded in Biblical wisdom.
Caroline and Beth each bring unique gifts to the counseling space, yet share the same heart for helping others discover who God created them to be and shine His light into areas of life that need restoration. They work with individuals, couples, and teens facing a wide range of emotional and spiritual challenges, including grief, relationship conflict, life transitions, identity, and burnout.
Sessions are thoughtful and relational, providing a safe, confidential space for honest reflection and Christ-centered growth. Their approach is gentle, Spirit-led, and grounded in Biblical wisdom, and their style is warm, discerning, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when we are deeply known and spiritually supported.
Appointments are available
in-person in Covington, Louisiana, and online via telehealth.

Meet the WayMaker Counselors
Caroline Cleveland Sholl
Caroline Sholl is a Pastoral Counselor, a certified Temperament Counselor, and a Professional Member of the National Christian Counselors Association. Caroline has a special tenderness for mothers with young children, those struggling with worry, the terminally ill and their loved ones, and adult children of alcoholics.
Beth Cleveland Maillho
Beth Maillho is a Pastoral Counselor, a certified Temperament Counselor, and a Professional Member of the National Christian Counselors Association. She has a compassionate heart for those struggling with codependency, destructive behavior patterns, shame related to regret and sexuality, and the deep effects of alcoholic or abusive parents.

You choose which location is best for you: your home for online counseling or the office conveniently located in Covington, LA, for in-person appointments. The Covington office is an easy drive across the Causeway bridge from Metairie and New Orleans, LA.
