Pastoral Counseling
ministry. Caroline is licensed by the National Christian Counselors Association and specializes in providing Christian Pastoral Counseling rooted in Scripture. Her goal is to help you learn who God created you to be and to shine God’s Light into areas of your life that need healing.
Christian Pastoral Counseling is a form of faith-integrated care that draws on both biblical truth and psychological insight. It focuses on healing the whole person—spirit, soul, and body—through compassionate conversation, prayerful support, and practical tools rooted in Scripture.
Caroline works with individuals, couples, and teens, navigating a wide range of emotional and spiritual challenges, including grief, relationship conflict, life transitions, identity, and burnout. Her approach is gentle, Spirit-led, and grounded in biblical wisdom.
Her sessions are thoughtful and relational, offering a safe, confidential space for honest reflection and Christ-centered growth. Caroline's style is warm, discerning, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when we are deeply known and spiritually supported.
Appointments are available in-person in Covington, LA, and online (telehealth).

Caroline Cleveland Sholl
Caroline Sholl is a Pastoral Counselor, a certified Temperament Counselor, and a Professional Member of the National Christian Counselors Association. Caroline has a special tenderness for mothers with young children, those struggling with worry, the terminally ill and their loved ones, and adult children of alcoholics.
In-person and Virtual Christian Counseling
You choose which location is best for you: your home for online counseling or the office conveniently located in Covington, LA, for in-person appointments. The Covington office is an easy drive across the Causeway bridge from Metairie and New Orleans, LA.
