WayMaker Ministries – NOLA in Covington, LA, serves clients through the care of two trained pastoral counselors, Caroline Sholl and Beth Maillho, who provide biblical counseling rooted in Scripture and led by the Holy Spirit. Their approach is practical, faith-based, and deeply personal—designed to help clients become healthy, balanced, and whole.
Whether you're carrying heavy burdens or simply longing for clarity, you are not alone. At WayMaker, we believe that God is near to the brokenhearted and that healing is possible through truth, grace, and the gentle leading of the Holy Spirit.
Our counselors begin each course of pastoral care by prayerfully inviting the Holy Spirit into every appointment. One of the key tools they use is the
Arno Profile System (APS)—a detailed temperament report that reveals how you interact in both casual and intimate relationships, what energizes or drains you, what motivates you, and what practical steps you can take to reduce stress and find peace.
They have a directive style, one in which both counselors teach their clients healthy, faith-based ways to care for themselves in mind, body, and soul. They also teach you how to foster healthy, Christ-centered relationships and establish boundaries rooted in charity and the dignity of the human person.
