Beth Cleveland Maillho
Pastoral Counselor licensed by the National Christian Counselors Association
Meet Beth
Beth Cleveland Maillho (pronounced MAIL-Oh) is a Pastoral Counselor licensed by the National Christian Counselors Association. She is also a Certified Temperament Counselor and a Professional Member of the NCCA and is now taking new clients. Watch a quick welcome video here.
Beth has a compassionate heart for individuals struggling with codependency, destructive behavior patterns, unhealthy relationship attachments, shame related to sexuality or past choices, and the lasting effects of growing up with alcoholic or abusive parents. She is trained in both the Gottman Institute method of couples counseling and the faith-based How We Love approach, offering effective counseling for married, engaged, and dating couples.
Family
Beth and her husband, André, were married in 1999 and soon welcomed four children—one daughter and three sons within five and a half years. She began working part-time as a REALTOR with Matrix Realty, which later became
Ridgelake Realty, where she served for 18 years.

When their youngest graduated from high school, Beth felt called to serve God’s kingdom more intentionally. Drawing from her own journey of healing and transformation, she was inspired to help others discover their true worth and identity so they could experience healing and live out their God-given purpose.
Volunteer & Ministry Experience
Beth has volunteered extensively in her children’s schools, often serving as PTA president, and she currently leads as
President of Louisiana PTA.
Since 2013, she has been part of the New Orleans
Rachel’s Vineyard
retreat team, ministering to men and women seeking healing from the pain of abortion and miscarriage. Since 2014, Beth and her husband André have also fostered newborns for
Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
In addition, Beth serves with other faith-based ministries, including
She Shall Be Called Woman
at St. Anselm Parish, where she is a Small Group Leader.
A native of New Orleans, LA, Beth graduated from St. Mary's Dominican High School. She attended Louisiana State University and then graduated from University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of General Studies (Health Sciences) on the Dean’s List in 1995. She recently completed her Master’s Program in Pastoral Counseling with the National Christian Counselors Association in October 2025 which should be formally issued by December 2025 by the Colorado Theological Seminary.
Beth now offers pastoral counseling through WayMaker Ministries – NOLA, a 501(c)(3) charter of Renaissance Coalition, which accepts counseling scholarships (donations) for those in need.
